Healthcare is regulated. PHI is sensitive. Compliance isn't bureaucracy — it's a real constraint that shapes our architecture. You don't need to be a compliance expert, but you can't treat it as someone else's problem.
Systems thinking
We're building infrastructure, not features. We think about failure modes, edge cases, and second-order effects before we ship. "It works on the happy path" is not enough.
Direct communication
We'd rather have an honest conversation about what isn't working than maintain a polished appearance. Good feedback — up, down, and sideways — is how we get better.
